“Be careful Middleton, he has got eyes behind”: LaMelo Ball plays insane behind the back pass during Hornets vs Bucks showdown
LaMelo Ball
After winning the Rookie of the Year last season, it seems like LaMelo Ball is all set to embrace his presence in the 2022 All-Star game. With the Charlotte Hornets not finding their best form yet in the current season, their next battle is up against the mighty defending champions led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. But it wasn’t long before the marquee home team player left an impression at the Spectrum Center.
With the Charlotte Hornets being stuck in the middle part of the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to challenge the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls for the numero uno spot. But with LaMelo Ball present on the court, the away team will be aware that registering a win on the road against this team will not be easy. Moreover, they might have to outthink the reigning Rookie of the Year as well.
LaMelo Ball registers early highlight of the match play
When the Hornets vs Bucks showdown commenced, it was Khris Middleton who took an early attempt from downtown, but missed. With the ball hitting the rim and bouncing off, it was brought in front of LaMelo who cleverly took it over to tip to himself. Just when many thought he might be caught in the act by Middleton, yet the former decided to try an outrageous behind the back pass to his teammate who was the only player standing in the Bucks’ paint area.
With LaMelo Ball having the much evident pace to deceive Middleton, the pass was surely one of the major highlights of the game. Moreover, Ball decided to make such a unique play in the very first minute of the opening quarter.
As of writing, it is the Milwaukee Bucks who seemed to have caught the pace in the first quarter whereas the Hornets looked slow to catch to the pace of the game. Having said that, with Ball in such fine fashion, will he be able to pull off the upset against the Milwaukee Bucks, especially with the away team seeming to have caught their pace from last season.
