During the course of LeBron James’ 19 years in the NBA, he has faced extremely tough opponents. Be it Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry or any other modern-day NBA player. However, hoop fans could not witness the GOAT debate being settled between Michael Jordan and LeBron James on the court. So, this time around, one particular decided to dress himself as MJ in order to compete with the King.
As hilarious as it may sound, this fan actually dawned in the precise looks of MJ, and was seen waiting for LeBron James outside the Crypto.com. With the 37-year-old Los Angeles Lakers sitting out against the Philadelphia 76ers due to his left sore knee, this fan wanted to go 1-on-1 to settle the GOAT dispute for once and for all.

In a video posted by a Lakers reporter online, there was a fan dressed up as Michael Jordan sitting outside the Crypto.com Arena, seemingly waiting for LeBron James. The Akron native saw this video and jokingly responded that he had taken the night off, so fans would have to wait to see LeBron James play one-on-one against ‘Michael Jordan’.

LeBron, even though he didn’t play, chose to have some fun with the fan and the video that went viral online. It was very funny to see a fan dressed fully as Michael Jordan sitting and looking absolutely sad.
That being said, the King has just over 10 games remaining in the 2021-22 regular season, to book his team’s berth in the play-in tournament. With the purple and gold not being able to find consistency, since the beginning, LeBron James needs to open his bag of tricks to turn the table around for Frank Vogel’s team.
Will the Los Angeles Lakers be a force to reckon with in the post season? Or are we just going to witness LeBron James sitting as dismayed as the same MJ fan? Time will unravel all speculations in the coming weeks.
