Bronny James has been in the limelight often of late. Eldest of Lebron James‘ three children, Bronny has already graduated from high school and will be playing college basketball for USC. So how does Bonny James’ high school stats compare to that of his father? 

LeBron James played for St Vincent’s St Marys was a high school sensation back in his day. Bronny is no exception but in his case, half the hype is perhaps courtesy of the name he carries.

LeBron James Jr, aka Bronny James spent the entirety of his high school at Sierra Canyon. There in his final year, the starlet averaged 14 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. Decent numbers and quite consistent too.

However, in comparison, LeBron James’ stats were absolutely stellar. With 31.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.4 steals and 4.6 assists on an average per game, King James truly was a different breed in high school.

Although Bronny’s game favours a more defensive style, he does not really make it up to the towering stats of his father. There could also be a comparison of their physique as Bronny James stands at 6-foot-3 while LeBron was already 6-foot-7 during his time at high school. 

Nevertheless, analysts of the sport do consider Bronny James as a pretty strong NBA future prospect. This is not only just due to his star status as LeBron’s firstborn but rather to his repertoire as a player. As Bronny James is to dominate college courts for USC, fans surely expect to see LeBron James Jr in the NBA someday.
