Bulls News: DeMar DeRozan gives a Stern message to Brooklyn Nets after Chicago Bulls suffer a Blowout loss

DeMar DeRozan

DeMar DeRozan isn’t having a great time after the Brooklyn Nets whopped their ass off in their recent meet-up.

The Bulls were cruising through the season as DeMar DeRozan represented the Chicago Bulls on the forefront. He is averaging 26.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7assists per game this season. But all meant nothing when the Nets contained the Raging Bulls on their own home court.

Though the San Antonio Spurs are surely regretting their decision of letting go DeMar as a trade exchange to the Chicago Bulls for Thaddeus Young and Al-Farouq Aminu during this year’s off-season. Since his trade to Bulls for $85 Million for a three-year contract, DeRozan has been wreaking havoc both in offense and defense.

DeMar DeRozan- “It’s how we bounce back”

The Brooklyn Nets visited the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday for a match that could be this year’s conference finals’ preview as both the Nets and the Bulls are the top-tier teams of the Eastern Conference.

The Nets were high on adrenaline after their Monday’s loss against the Portland Trail Blazers and were in a need of a blasting win, and well, they got one. The Nets completely and perfectly dominated the Bulls on their won court and handed them their humiliating loss considering they won 133-87 against the Pistons on Tuesday.

It is quite evident that DeMar DeRozan is disappointed with how the results turned out to be and he knows that in the end it’s a match that has to end in someone’s favor and the Bulls weren’t the one tonight. But he is sure that the Chicago Bulls will bounce back again and show what they are made of. This can be interpreted as the Bulls’ retaliation announcement towards the Brooklyn Nets that “Watch out!” because the Bulls won’t let it happen twice.

During the post-match conference he addressed this issue and said, “We got our ass kicked tonight. It’s how we bounce back.”

He continued to add, “Let it sink in, let it suck, let it hurt. We’ve got to understand we’re at the top of our conference and we have to show we’re there for a reason.”

The Bulls are still leading the East but a match like this where the skills show a clear distinction between these teams could be a piece of bad news for the Bulls consideration the aspirations and expectations they are holding from the current roster. Both the Bulls’ star players DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavine finished with 19 points and 22 points respectively.

The Nets had their Big 3 on the court and the Bulls were unable to contain either of them. Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving all ended the match with 27 points, 25 points, and 9 points respectively.

The Chicago Bulls will have to map out a plan if they wish to win the conference title this year.
