Being a generational talent Shaquille O’Neal was and is the most dominant force the league has ever seen but it isn’t just the game that he dominates. He also dominates the internet with his great analyzing skills, hot-takes and opinions on day to day basis. Recently Shaq made headlines as he discussed the ultimate G.O.A.T debate of NFL legend Tom Brady and NBA legend Michael Jordan.

Shaq on his podcast, “The Big Podcast with Shaq” discussed the debate and gave away the most unique answer. The reason behind the discussion was Tom Brady retiring from the National Football League after 22 seasons and at age 44 having the best career in the league as the best ever to play who is regarded as the G.O.A.T at NFL. On the other hand, there is Michael Jordan the greatest athlete the league has ever seen in the history. Michael Jordan retired from National Basketball Association in the year 2003 as the greatest of all time as he was never stopped by anyone.

Both Michael Jordan and Tom Brady are better athletes of two different leagues and the fan base of theirs always tries to get the one they support at the better spot. This made Shaq come forward and shut all such debates down because he thinks it’s just wrong to compare them when they played two totally different sports at different times.

Shaquille O’Neal respecting the great career of Tom Brady and his consistency quoted: “Tom Brady is the most perfect athlete I’ve ever watched.” But further he made it very clear that he isn’t a fan of him being the ultimate G.O.A.T as he said: “But you can’t sit up here and say Tom Brady is a better athlete than Michael Jordan. Stop it with that. Cut it out.”

Not only limiting it here Shaq being afraid of none has always welcomed controversies. So he made it very clear that he doesn’t agree with the comparison as Tom Brady shouldn’t be in the same conversation as Michael Jordan due to the differences their sports and roles had. Shaq further also mentioned how unfair it is to compare two legends and bring one down has he stressed to the fans doing that.
