Carmelo Anthony has officially taken his final bow from the NBA courts, drawing an end to his professional career that spawned across 19 seasons in the league. A prolific scorer with 28,289 points beside his name, the power forward ranks ninth in the all-time scoring charts.

During this career, Anthony has played for the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers. A beloved Nuggets legend, Antony is widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation.

Anthony had signed multiple player contracts that amount to over $260 million. His first-ever professional contract with the Denver Nuggets was worth $15,108,241 across four years. The Nuggets exercised the team option for the final year on his contract for the 2006-07 season. 

His max extension with the Denver Nuggets was of a significant value worth $78,899,560 across five years for until 2011. His veteran extension would then add another $64,166,861 to his career earnings. Anthony was later traded to the New York Knicks, where he signed a five-year $124,064,681 deal with the franchise. 

He then signed minimum contracts with the Portland Trail Blazers and the Lakers, where his last contract saw him earn $2,641,691 in his final year. Up until his retirement, Carmelo Anthony earned over $260 million in career earnings.

Carmelo Anthony’s endorsement deals have also largely added to his career earnings. Fresh off becoming the third pick in the loaded 2003 NBA Draft, 19-year-old Anthony inked an unprecedented six-year footwear deal with Jordan Brand. His first signature sneaker, the Jordan Melo 1.5, was introduced the following year.

Over the course of his NBA career, the brand released a total of 13 models of his shoe line. Anthony has also signed endorsement deals with renowned brands like IWC, Gillette, Foot Locker and Samsung.
