Chris Broussard reveals exact reason why 1996 Bulls would beat Stephen Curry’s 2017 Warriors

When GQ Sports released their latest video of Golden State’s Stephen Curry answering some of the most asked questions, one concern in particular took the fan, analysts and fanatics by surprise. Who will be the winner between 1996 Bulls vs 2017 Warriors in a 7-game series? Stating the obvious, Curry picked up his own team and said that they would surely emerge victorious against the best team in the late 90s. Now to opinionated upon the same is analyst Chris Broussard.
With the Bulls registering 72-10 record in the 1995-96 season, many thought that the Michael Jordan led team was perhaps the best ever to play together. But during the 2016-17 season, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant led Warriors went a step ahead and registered a record of 73-9. To justify their dominance, they handsomely beat the same team they met last year, in the NBA Finals.

What was opinionated by Chris Broussard on 1996 Bulls vs 2017 Warriors outcome?
Chris Broussard stated, “I’ve got the 1996 Bulls in this series. I respect Steph for being honest about it, but he’s honestly wrong. … These Bulls were 1st in the league offensively & 1st defensively. That team, because of its defense, would be able to beat the 2017 Warriors.”
Although, Broussard pointed out the best factor for the Bulls as their defense was as strong as their offence. Moreover, with the NBA being more aggressive, the defenders knew how to stop the opposition from scoring in the paint area. On the other hand, for the Golden State Warriors, their offence was the absolute best but many questioned their ability to defend time and again.
Having said that, the trio of both these teams’ locking horns against one another is only a fantasy yet who would have come out victorious will be one of the most speculated debates in the NBA ever. But do you agree with Chris Broussard’s reasoning of why the Bulls would beat the Warriors? Do let us know below.
