LeBron James is the biggest NBA player right now or we can say, even right now. However, he is a big football buff and he was even once considered to be a football player and playing in the NFL. He eventually decided to ‘take his talents’ to the NBA and the rest has been history.

Recently, LeBron James took to Twitter to congratulate the Los Angeles Rams for making it to the Super Bowl. LeBron’s Twitter usually talks about NFL matches as this is what LeBron enjoys a lot in his free time. This time he Tweeted – “Congrats home team [Los Angeles] Rams!!!! YESSIR!!!!!”

Now, LeBron not only plays for the Los Angles Lakers but also lives there and has all of his business there as well. So, it makes sense for LeBron to be excited about the ‘home team’ Los Angeles Rams. Fans on Twitter, however, caught LeBron changing his loyalties as he has done several times. King James has in the past supported Dallas Cowboys, his actual hometown team Cleveland Browns, and the current home team Los Angeles Rams.

In the NBA, loyalty usually is based on a specific player and it shifts according to certain players. The Franchise culture in the NBA is not as strong as the NFL. NFL, on the other hand, has passionate, devoted, and loyal followers of teams instead of specific players. So, a team may be having a horrible season in the NFL or a marquee player may have left in the off-season, that doesn’t change the loyalty of the fans.
