“DeFrozen”: Fans react to DeMar DeRozan punching a water cooler in frustration after getting ejected
DeMar DeRozan
DeMar DeRozan has been a changed player since he joined the Chicago Bulls this offseason. The season so far has been going good and great for the veteran as his scoring ability has him in the MVP conversation as a top contender with fair chances of walking away with the award. Fans have also nicked DeRozan as “Mr. FOURTH QUARTER” for his clutch performances where he closes the game grabbing the dub in the final seconds remaining. The Bulls have been a better team as the roster improved a lot with his addition.
DeMar DeRozan though against the JA Morant led Memphis Grizzlies left the game a bit too early during the clutch time. As he was ejected by the referees for his complaints and exchanges which got him his second technical. His ejection also sold the game for Chicago Bulls as they already had no answers for the offensive rally of the Memphis Grizzlies. The final box score stands at 110-116 favoring the Grizzlies. Currently, under DeMar DeRozan’s leadership, the Chicago Bulls are ranked as the second seed in the eastern conference with the record of 39 wins and 22 losses at .639.
DeMar DeRozan with the ejection also broke his legendary 35 plus points game streak. While also washing his hands on the chances of leading the conference. The ejection against the Grizzlies cost him so much as the final box score would have been very different if he didn’t complain and stayed in during the clutch time while not getting ejected. This season DeMar has been godlike as he averages 28.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks per game.
