With amazing performances and a roster who is just blasting their opponents off in the game, the Bulls managed to top the Eastern Conference but for the last couple of matches, the speed seems to be reduced. Their team momentum seems to have hit a rock.

Their recent match against the Golden State Warriors was a big reality blow to their roster as the Warriors destroyed them in a one-sided match by 96-138.  The match also cost them their star guard Zach LaVine who seems to have injured his knee.

During the post-match conference, Bull’s star player DeMar acknowledged that the times are tough for the Chicago Bulls and the only escape is by relying on themselves and performing well on the court. He also emphasized that these crunchy moments can be used as a motivation to sustain themselves and prepare themselves for their upcoming games .

He said, “Nobody is going to come save the day. It’s on us to step up. These two games should be all the motivation that we need to step up, play hard, play for one another. [Losing LaVine] is just another challenge we gotta face.”

DeMar DeRozan scored 17 points, Vucevic 19 points with 14 rebounds, and Lonzo Ball 15 points for the Bulls.

The Bulls know that losing Zach makes them more vulnerable to the elites of the league but they got to do what they know: perform. Their next stops for their 2-game road trip are Boston and them Memphis. Hopefully, they can neutralize their last two defeats with these upcoming matches.
