The Battle of LA today might not be what it used to be just two years ago. Both the teams had their biggest stars missing. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are unavailable for the Clippers owing to injuries. LeBron James is out to sore left knee for the Lakers. The Lakers won their previous game against the Blazers at home on their own Crypto.com Arena coming on the back of three losses. They fell to the Clippers again which makes their season record 25-28. Clippers on the other hand have been showing a lot of heart and are 27-27 for the season with their stars out for a majority of the time.

The fans present at Crypto.com arena and those watching worldwide saw Los Angeles Lakers-Clippers showdown go to crunch time. The game on paper was not like the battles that the 2020 NBA season saw with the newly formed Clippers. On the floor, however, the game was worth the watch every minute and every second, especially in the clutch. It became a you-blink-you-lose as the Lakers blinked after Anthony Davis missed a go-ahead floater in the game’s final play. That was curtains for the Lakers.

People in LA knew what a showdown it can be at the Crypto.com arena and they came to watch. But those people also included some very famous people. Rapper Machine Gun Kelly or MGK was spotted with super-agent and Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul. Also in attendance, were LeBron James’ business partner Maverick Carter, Queen of Hip-Hop Nicki Minaj, and 50-0 Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. It was a big event and Twitter fans were not behind in reacting to this moment:
