Donovan Mitchell vs Rudy Gobert Beef once again comes into focus amid Jazz recent struggles

Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell
The Utah Jazz has become one of the most consistent forces to fire in the Western Conference over the past couple of seasons, majorly due to the duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. However, in the past 10 games in the 2021-22 season, the Jazz have lost 7 games and have been without their marquee duo mentioned above. Moreover, to make things worse there have been rumors of Mitchell and Gobert having beef for one another.

The Jazz have been led by Mitchell and Rudy Gobert for several seasons now. On one hand, where the former has been averaging more than 25 points in the 2021-22 season, Gobert has been a force to reckon with on the backcourt. Now, with Joe Ingles ruled out for the current season, where does the Utah Jazz stand without their marquee duo?

What was revealed on Donovan Mitchell vs Rudy Gobert beef?

As stated by Brian Windhorst and Tim MacMahon per Clutchpoints, this is known about the beef of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.
“Gobert and Mitchell have been at each other’s… I don’t know if I can say at each other’s throats,” said Brian Windhorst.
“It’s back to being passively aggressively awkward,” interjected Tim MacMahon.

“It’s the most underplayed story in the league, I think,” continued Windhorst. “The Jazz are struggling a lot. This team had big expectations and they’re getting passed by frankly. They are not on the level they were a year ago. Donovan and Gobert, even though they’re both under long-term contract, are under each other’s skin. There’s all kind of subtweeting and passive aggressive stuff going on.”
O those who are not aware, these rumors went onto state that Gobert praised Devin Booker for improving his defensive prowess and for helping out his team on the backcourt. Which many fans saw as a dig taken out on Donovan Mitchell. Safe to say, if these rumors are true, the Jazz might have hit deep waters. But will the situation change, if the Jazz manage to once again pick their consistent form up? Remains to be seen.
