“Don’t let me down like this” Giannis Antetokounmpo gets angry on his brothers for ruining Skill Challenge on purpose
Thanasis and Giannis Antetokounmpo
The reigning All-Star MVP entered the 2022 showdown in Cleveland with the jolliest of vibes, but it surely doesn’t seem to be his vibe anymore. Especially after he lost the Skill Challenge and that too, being the first team to be knocked out, the Milwaukee Bucks’ marquee was clearly angry at his brothers for not being able to play accordingly against the Rookies and Team Cavaliers.
While it was the home trio of Darious Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarret Allen who emerged victorious, team Antetokounmpo entered two tie-breakers and looked off-shape throughout the Taco Bell Skill Challenge. They were the worst performing in the first round, but went onto win the second round against the Rookies based on the tie brakers criteria.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and brothers lose Skill Challenge
Talking about the last round, it was the Rookies who went onto secure their place in the Championship round after winning by a decent margin. Now, it was the Cavaliers locking horns in a sudden-death hoop contest. Although with Cavs sending in their best shooters – Garland, many were surprised to see Giannis Antetokounmpo sending in Thanasis. Who literally took the lamest of shots to send the opposition into the last stage.
Even when the finale was underway, the cameras captured Giannis Antetokounmpo talking to his brothers about what could have been done differently. But as one might say, the two-time MVP wasn’t at his best himself. But that being said, it was all fun and games between all the teams as the All-Star festivity continues in Cleveland.
With the Taco Bell Skill Challenge getting over, all eyes will be on the 3-point contest and the likes of Trae Young, Desmond Bane, Zach Lavine, CJ McCollum, Luke Kennard, Fred VanVleet, Karl Anthony Towns and Pattu Mills locking horns in one of the toughest competition line-up.
After which, there will be the Dunk Contest to close out the Day 2 festivity in Cleveland. Who are you’re favorites? Well, all speculations will be answered as the hoop bonanza goes on.
