“Don’t you even dare fight me” James Harden gets mad at DeMarcus Cousins for slapping his head

DeMarcus Cousins and James Harden
After a very strong start in Philadelphia, James Harden seems to be falling his way-out as he cannot cope with strong performances in consecutive games. After losing against the Brooklyn Nets earlier, the Sixers were scheduled to lock horns against Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets. With two frontrunners of MVP race locking horns, the Beard somehow took center stage after being slapped by DeMarcus Cousins on the head.
With Cousins being well aware how to take the ball and get inside the head of his opponent, James Harden was one of his many victims. Being stranded with the ball, the Philadelphia 76ers man found himself being bullied by the Nuggets’ veteran, after which he wanted to fight him against all odds.

James Harden gets disrespected by DeMarcus Cousins

With the battle between the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets being ever so close. In the fourth quarter, James Harden found himself being stranded and being under two Nuggets defenders. With Cousins being one of them, he seemed to be all in fun and games as he decided to throw his hands on James Harden in an attempt to get the ball and cause a turnover.

The Nuggets are just handful of wins away from securing their direct berth in the playoffs. With Nikola Jokic being his elite form, the Nuggets will be thinking of getting the services of their marquee players back, in order to support Nikola Jokic and go to the ultimate distance.
On the other hand, the Sixers did end up coming short against the Nuggets. But are in a decent position to make the playoffs. Given that the team needs to register some wins in the order to give the required rest to Joel Embiid in the regular season, it will be interesting to see how things unravel for both these teams, who could very well be making deep playoff runs in the 2021-22 season. But for now, Harden surely needs to find his way back to stop players from bullying him, in such major fashion.
