Enes Kanter Freedom and Lebron James
Enes Kanter Freedom the veteran center for Boston Celtics is back in the headlines like always for his habit of asking questions but never really getting a answer out. Freedom is the very first athlete of National Basketball Association who started his individual protest against slave labour, social injustice and other issues harming the human rights going on in China and other middle-east countries like Tibet. Formerly known as Enes Kanter, he also changed his name after receiving the citizenship of United States of America to make the most out of anything he can.
Enes Kanter Freedom was recently trending as he fired shots against basketball greats like LeBron James and Michael Jordan for keeping quite on slave labour issues in China. Even Nike faced a lot of criticism as Enes Kanter raised his voice on companies operations going on in China and questioning the silence of Nike, Enes Kanter Freedom harmed the goodwill and reputation the company holds. But Enes still remains unanswered as everyone he raised his voice against never really came out and had a word except for some exchange the veteran center had with LeBron James.

Enes Kanter Freedom remains firm on his principle of doing human rights and not politics while raising his voice against injustice and demanding answers. One name who is frequently criticized by Enes Kanter Freedom is LeBron James as Bron is not only the King of NBA but also the King for sneaker market which totally relates him to the protest of Enes against slave labour at China. LeBron James was recently again discussed by Freedom but for a very unexpected topic.

Enes Kanter on the appreciation by LeBron James’ teammate

Enes Kanter Freedom from using his shoe, post game and pre game interviews, T-shirts and even his name to spread the questions was never really supported or appreciated for what he is trying to do. But recently the 6 ft. 10 inches big guy revealed that he was supported and appreciated by LeBron James’ teammate which was very unexpected for him as he featured on The Will Cain Podcast.
Revealing the surprising act of support by a Lakers’ player Enes Kanter Freedom quoted: “Dude, keep doing what you’re doing. What you’re doing is right. Don’t give up. I was very shocked. I thought he was gonna come at me like, ‘Dude stop talking.’ He’s going to try to defend LeBron, right? He’s like, ‘Dude, do not stop.’ You know, he said to me, in the free throw line, he said, ‘I have so much things that I want to say, but I cannot because these teams got us. If you want another contract, if you want more endorsement deals, if you want other companies to work with you, you have to keep your mouth shut. You cannot criticize the league, the companies, Nike or whoever.’”

Further Enes also said that: “I was very happy that he said it, but same time, I’m like, Dude, come on man, there’s not one player that wanna join. That made me really sad.” Enes Kanter Freedom was happy after the appreciation and support but sad at the very same time since no one really has joined him in his fight. He has also mentioned earlier that it’s high time for the athletes around the world to step up and raise questions keeping in view the social injustice around them but still no support for his side has been seen except for a LeBron James’ teammate coming up with some words.
