Markieff Morris has finally made his comeback to the Heats campaign after his four-month gap when he was injured by Nikola Jokic during an on-court scuffle. With his return to the court, he also had some hard words for his altercation with Denver Nuggets big man which he recently talked about.
The fight between the two big men took place when the Heats were at the Nuggets’ home for the league game. The affray started when Morris made contact with Jokic’s midsection as the former MVP was moving the offense with the ball on the floor. In the meantime, when Jokic reached the court logo Morris made a cheap shot and Nugget’s star center was unable to stop himself from giving a violent reply.

Nikola Jokic hit really hard when Miami Heat forward Markieff Morris turned his back and walked away from The Joker, it only gave chance to Nuggets’ superstar to hit him from the blind spot. After the hit by 7’1 center, Morris laid on the floor for a few minutes as he was unable to stand.
Jokic was ejected from the game and later faced a two-game suspension for his flagrant foul on Morris. Now since Morris has finally recovered and made his return to the games, he was asked whether he ever had word by Nikola Jokic after the incident to which he replied: “F**k, no, I don’t want to hear from him. He did what he did. It is what it is.”
The drama after the scuffle turned wild when the family and teammates from both sides got involved in the fight but things have returned to ease after the NBA office got involved.

Moreover, Markieff Morris’s return to the league will add more firepower to the Heats campaign as their already leading the Eastern Conference. Despite losing many star players due to injury just like last season the Heats never let their morale down and continued with the “next man up” mentality.
