Lou Williams announced his retirement after spending 17 long years in the league that was filled with accolades and record-breaking performances. The Underground Goat was drafted out of high school and became synonymous with the Sixth Man position and quickly became one of the best bench players in the league winning 3 Sixth Man Of The Year Awards and holding the record for most points scored off the bench in NBA history.

Lemon Pepper Lou wasn’t your typical ordinary NBA player as News came out in 2014 that Williams was dating 2 women simultaneously. What’s crazy about the whole thing was that both women were okay with it and were aware of each other’s relationship with the sixth man of the year. The two women remarkably were able to form a strong bond with each other.

The two women were later revealed to be Ashley Henderson and Rece Mitchell who both were the mothers to Lou’s children. The report came out in 2014, back when Williams was still with the Toronto Raptors, the public and the media found it hard to wrap the news behind their heads, but the report was in fact true as the man himself confirmed the rumours to be true. Recently, the topic came up again on the Twitter platform posted by a popular user @mevvybear, although Lou Williams acknowledge the Tweet, he also told the user to ‘mind ya business’.

The story wasn’t as complicated as things came to be with Lou Williams starting off his love life with Ashely Henderson whom he lovingly called ‘Blonde’, he had two children with her. Things became complicated when the Guard moved to Toronto to play for the Raptors, where he found a new love interest in Rece Mitchell, which he also referred to as ‘Brown’ and had his third child with Brown.

Both women were fine with the relationship and were reported to have forged a strong relationship with each other, but things took another turn when the media took a sniff at the situation, the story of Lou dating two women became a hot topic in the media with big media pages milking the story. Lou addressed the situation in an interview with Taylor Rooks, wishing that he could’ve changed how the story was presented: “It’s ridiculous how people have even claimed they were sisters. I despise the fact that I have no control over the rumors and misconceptions surrounding them. These women are not just random companions; they are the mothers of my children.”

As of now, Lou Williams is split up with ‘Blonde’ but is still in a relationship with Mitchell after a series of incidents involving Rece and Drake where Brown reportedly cheated on Williams with Drake. The pair of Lou and Mitchell got back together in 2019 when Brown gave birth to Lou’s third child.
