Drake‘s recently released song, “What Did I Miss?,” which he unveiled during his unexpected “Iceman Episode 1” webcast, includes some revelations about people he used to call buddies. Fans were introduced to a brief music video featuring Drake rapping while surrounded by numerous firearms during the livestream, which marked the song’s initial release.

Now, in the song, Drake took some serious shots at many of his old friends, one of them being none other than the NBA legend, LeBron James. It’s important to note that James attended Kendrick Lamar‘s Pop Out concert last year, which did not sit well with the Canadian rapper, who has been beefing with Lamar for a long time now.

James attending Lamar’s concert broke Drake’s trust, who did not hold back on his latest ‘What did I miss?’ track.

I saw bro in the Pop Out with them but been d*ckriding gang since ‘Headlines’

Now, while the rapper has not mentioned any names, the fans are pretty sure this was an alleged diss towards James. In addition to James, other NBA players like DeMar DeRozan and Russell Westbrook also attended Lamar’s event. However, these players do not have much going on with the Canadian as much as James did in the past.

Given how close the two used to be, the tension is particularly surprising. Their friendship was widely known and appeared to be indestructible, as seen by their courtside appearances and joint initiatives. Social media is currently connecting dots, which is what it does best.

Interestingly, James quoted lyrics from Clipse’s upcoming album featuring Kendrick Lamar. Posting, “Therapy taught me how to open up / it also showed me I don’t give a f—.” This showcases James’ stance towards Lamar in the latest beef battle between the two.

Fans chimed in with their thoughts regarding Drake’s recent diss at LeBron James

It did not take much time for Drake to be back in the headlines, and he did it in some style by dissing one of the best basketball players, LeBron James. As mentioned above, Drake did not hold back against James in his latest music track. However, the NBA fans also chimed back at the Canadian rapper who has James’s tattoo on his arm.

With James’ signature number 23 on it, the tattoo shows the NBA champion sporting his St. Vincent-St. Mary’s Fighting Irish high school uniform. The majority of the fans took to various social media apps and sites to put forward their views on this matter. One fan wrote on X, “Drake calling lebron a d rider when he has his high school jersey and a tattoo of him lmao.” Check out some of the fan reactions below:

The continuing discussion over Drake and Kendrick’s enmity has been rekindled by the scorching bars. While some fans applauded the slick delivery, others were attempting to determine who the Toronto native was referring to in his lyrics.

If not LeBron James, NBA superstar Stephen Curry has got Drake’s back

Stephen Curry maintained throughout all of this that he was a “Drake guy” at heart. When the Golden State Warriors took on the Toronto Raptors earlier this year, the top player had an opportunity to prove his point to the world. And he did. Notably, Drake was sitting courtside to support his favorite NBA side, the Raptors.

In a viral moment captured on camera, Curry was spotted dapping up Drake and also sharing a moment to greet each other, showcasing the strong bond between the two. This is completely in contrast to what the Canadian has experienced from his former friend, LeBron James, over the last year.

Fans seized the opportunity to criticize LeBron James when videos of this encounter went viral. When Kendrick Lamar allegedly branded Drake a pedophile on “Family Matters,” it was evident to many that Steph Curry had not left him, unlike James.
