However, as the offseason has just started for LeBron James, the all-time leading scorer has started attending other professional sports events, including F1.

Recently, James visited the Miami International Autodrome circuit to witness the F1 Miami Grand Prix. The King has remained active around F1 events during the offseason. This comes after James invested in the Alpine F1 team last June. LeBron James‘ net worth is estimated to be around $1 billion. His fame is recognized worldwide, as fans outside the circuit swarmed James when he left.

The former Miami Heat has a history with South Beach. Having played four seasons in a Heat jersey and winning two championships alongside Dwyane Wade. While it has almost been a decade since James left Miami, the city still has love for him for his contribution to the Heat franchise.

Many celebrities attended the F1 event in Miami. LeBron James was leaving the F1 circuit when fans swarmed all around him, taking pictures, yelling, and trying to get close to him. The surfaced video had fans on X shocked, looking at James’ security. At one point, one of the fans got too close to James, and his security immediately took action. ‘King James’ is a 6-foot-9, 250-pound athlete, looking like a giant in the crowd. Regardless, X users felt any deranged fan could do something worse, and James needed to tighten up security. This wasn’t the only time when James needed a high-alert security guard around him.

During halftime of one of the Lakers’ home games a few months ago, James had a fan run up to him on the bench. The concerned person went past the security without being noticed. Not only that, but he ran towards James in an attempt to talk to him just when he was taken away by the authorities near the bench area. This was far more dangerous considering the arena’s security to be vigilant.
