“LeBron’s plug helped him” – NBA fans troll Ja Morant after superstar admits to taking ‘help’ after brutal pain
Fans mocked Ja Morant after he admitted to using "help" in a post-game interview, questioning how he managed to score 31 points.

Ja Morant confesses to using "help" to fight through pain in a post-game interview
Ja Morant played a key role in securing the 122-111 road game victory against the Dallas Mavericks. However, it wasn’t his offensive production or any spectacular airborne antics that caught the fans’ eyes, but rather his valor and grit that had them chirping. Fans love watching their favorite players push through pain and discomfort, and that’s exactly what Ja did.
Despite dealing with lingering right shoulder soreness, Ja Morant managed to score 31 points. After making his return on March 5th, he admitted that he wasn’t fully recovered or ready yet. His shoulder issue stems from earlier incidents, including a Grade 1 AC joint sprain in December 2024, which had already made his availability a recurring concern this season.
I am ready to go sit down…I don’t know if I should say it on TV, but I got some help.

He admitted that the pain was particularly acute in the first half of the game, which is probably why he managed to score only 7 points in two quarters. However, the former Rookie of the Year revealed that he received some assistance from the medical staff at halftime. These remarks certainly perked up fans’ ears, as they wondered what those painkillers were.
Ja Morant was highly effective in the second half of the game, probably due to the magic concoction the NBA doctors administered to him. He scored 11 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter in a series of daggers.
On top of that, he contributed by facilitating the ball, setting up 8 assists, and grabbing 4 boards in 35 minutes of court time. On the defensive end, he tallied a steal. These efforts by their leader were what helped the Memphis Grizzlies break their four-game skid.
Fans react to Ja Morant professing to using “help” mid-game
When fans heard Morant admitting to using “help”, they couldn’t help themselves but troll him. The reactions were wild, from hilarious to serious allegations. Some claimed that he got in touch with “LeBron’s plug”, while others insisted, he is on that “za za” aka cannabis, a medicinal herb recognized for its potential pain-relieving properties. Here are some of the best fan reactions:

Well, one thing is for sure—Ja is showing a lot of resilience. Fighting through the pesky pain to will his team to victory is clutch and is something only stars and All-Stars do.
In spite of being plagued by injuries, he continues to perform at an elite level. So, if anything is a fluke, it’s him ceasing to posterize and terrorize the league with his crazy hoops.
