“Flat out quit on his second team…I’m done with him” Skip Bayless reveals just why he is frustrated from 76ers’ latest acquisition James Harden
James Harden and Skip Bayless
The James Harden trade controversy doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon with the player seemingly being hated on by every one in the league and outside of it due to his inability to be of any use to any team that he has been a part of, while also being in a dilemma of what he wants from himself and his team as many inside scoops suggest that since the time the players signed with the Brooklyn Nets for a multi-year contract, he wanted to play with the Philadelphia 76ers alongside Joel Embiid.
With what is seen to be as one of the most controversial trades this season between the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers which was an exchange of James Harden and Paul Millsap for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and Andre Drummond alongside 2 first-round picks in the coming years for the Brooklyn Nets, the Nets seem to have won this trade by a comfortable margin. With what is being suggested by the NBA gurus to be as a complete failure of a deal by the 76ers, it will now be interesting to see how they utilise the talent of their latest and costly acquisition, James Harden.
Skip Bayless also had a few things to say regarding the trade and specifically about the man James Harden.
Let us take a closer look at what went down in Skip Bayless’ interview alongside Shannon Sharpe, who sat down to discuss the future of Harden in the 76ers and in general.
Skip Bayless has lost all hope from James Harden, says he gave up on his team very easily
Skip Bayless went all out on his attack against James Harden after his controversial exit from the Brooklyn Nets’ team which almost had it all sorted except for a few exceptional circumstances like Kevin Durant’s injury or Kyrie Irving’s vaccine fiasco which wasn’t letting him play in the Nets’ home-games due to the vaccine mandate, which many people allege was the reason behind James Harden’s exit.

According to James Harden who had the ability to go with any team decided to coordinate with Kevin Durant and move to the “Mecca of Basketball”, that is the Brooklyn Nets to build one of the best offensive line-ups alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in what would later be called the BIG 3, who seemed invincible at the start of this season with the kind of games that they were having.
Bayless who stated that he trusted Kevin Durant more than Kyrie Irving and 1000 times more than James Harden said that he believed this team would have the capability to beat any other team in the league which is when according to reports, James Harden stopped showing up to the Nets’ practice sessions.
According to Skip Bayless who stated that Kevin Durant felt that they (the BIG 3) were all in it together, James Harden showing up to practice out of shape and talking about exploring the free agent trade market hurt his intentions of building a strong team and winning the NBA titles back to back, which is something that every player in the league wants.
Skip Bayless seems to empathize with Kevin Durant when he says that James Harden losing interest in playing with the team and giving up on them was the major factor in their downfall and something that ruined all their plans. Bayless stated that he was done with James Harden and didn’t have any hopes left from him due to the indecisive nature of the player and to be very Frank, some even say that Harden will eventually get bored of playing with Embiid and the Sixers as well.
