Not only that, the latter even played a crucial role in the team’s bid to the Finals against the Golden State Warriors. On a recent occasion, Shumpert spoke on one particular criticism that his former teammate has often received.

Iman Shumpert revealed that LeBron James is the best-shaped athlete because of his presence on and off the court. When asked what the biggest misconception surrounding the 19th year veteran, Shumpert decided to opinionate upon the flop Final runs of LeBron and how he has dealt with those blows over the years.

What was opinionated by Iman Shumpert on LeBron James? 

In an interview on The Bootleg Kev Show, Iman Shumpert spoke on his former teammate LeBron James. The former suggested that LeBron’s losses in the Finals were not a result of his style of play. Yet he detailed upon how his former teammate tries to get foul-calls on the court. 

“The worst thing we had against LeBron is, ‘Bro why you flopping?’” Shumpert said. “And literally he start flopping because he like, ‘Bro I got to get these free throws if these people getting free throws.’ He’s like, ‘Bro I’m really getting hit.’ So, he’s like ‘I’ll sell it for you since they can’t see it because I’m so strong y’all can’t see me getting fouled.’”

The argument raised by Iman Shumpert that LeBron James and other marquee flop because they are strong is not new, yet it is not entirely false. But if anything, LeBron James needs to find a way to lead his Los Angeles Lakers as he finds himself in a puddle filled with critics.

That being said, the Lakers have registered their most recent lost against the Pacers after not being able to cope up with the pace of the game for 48 minutes yet again.
