If it wasn’t for Fred VanVleet, Toronto Raptors could have witnessed their hard-fought 3-game winning streak go down the drain. Having trailed by 15 points by the end of the first quarter, their marquee point guard took the responsibility upon himself to drag his team back into this contest. With majority of Utah Jazz’ scorers out of the roster, VanVleet went all out. As a result, of which he ended up securing a 16-point win for the home team.

With Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby and Fred VanVleet all on the floor, fans saw something special from the latter player as he single handedly dragged back the home team. Fred scored 24 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Moreover, he was 8 of 8 from the field, 3 of 3 from the 3-point line and 5 of 5 from the free-throw line.

By the end of the third quarter, the Toronto Raptors were in complete control of the game and were bound to register their fourth consecutive win.

Fred VanVleet, who surely has delivered his claim to be an All-Star after leading the depleted Toronto Raptors so far in the current season, finished off with 37 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Not only did he score an impressive triple-double but inspired his team to come back from behind.
