Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant, HUH? NBA superstar LeBron James was an achiever right from his young amateur days. James had a basketball IQ that helped him spot gameplays in an instant and was not selfish to try and keep scoring himself.

Even before he entered the NBA, James had the difficult yet satisfying proposition of having to choose between multiple endorsement deals for his sports career. Brands such as Nike, Reebok and Adidas were lining up to get James on their side.

However, James waited on the advice of his mother and eventually managed to strike a mindboggling $10 million deal with Nike, which at the time was a landmark figure considering even the likes of Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant were only signed for $35 million and $40 million respectively by the same apparel company.

Recently, the basketball player even became the first from the NBA to become a billionaire!

LeBron is currently on his 19th season in the NBA, playing with the Los Angeles Lakers. He signed with the franchise in 2018 finalizing a deal worth $153.3 million (US) over 4-years giving him an estimated $40 million (US) on his last year. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003 prior to which he was an absolute phenomenon. He was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated while he was in high school and had shoe dealings being thrown at him from every side. James was one of the biggest high school prospects of all time and he has not failed to prove to us, why?

Since the beginning of his career, he went from earning $4.01 million (US) per season to a whopping $39.2 million (US) during the 2021-22 season. During the last years, his net worth has nearly doubled from $550 to $850 million dollars. For a player who also had a very bright future in the sport of Football, he has come a long way in the Basketball community. He also has a contract with Nike at the moment worth $100 million (US).

The King owns a beautiful home in Los Angeles’ Beverly Hills that spans 13,000 square feet and costs $36.75 million (US). This is one of his three houses in the United States as he owns one more in LA and another in Akron, Ohio. He owns 15 cars all worth over $2.5 million (US) which include the Lamborghini Aventador, a Rolls Royce, Mercedes Maybachs, a Porsche, and three amazing Ferraris.

One of his most recent purchases was the acquisition of a 1% stake in the MLB team Boston Red Sox. He also owns a 2% stake in the soccer group Liverpool FC according to Forbes. LeBron also owns a production house called SpringHill Entertainment which produced his much-anticipated Space Jam: A New Legacy. Space James seems apt for the level he has been on has skyrocketed since his start.
