The LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers once again proved their consistent inconsistency as they fell short against the Phoenix Suns. The Suns showcased pure domination for four straight quarters, especially the first one where they outscored the Lakers by 48-22. The Lakers were down on both the ends especially the defensive one as they gave away many free points in the paint where LeBron James was running the role of the center. Even the Suns were unstoppable in regards to scoring and shooting the ball.
The Footprint Center was on fire watching the show Phoenix Suns put on. The game eventually became closely contested and head to head but was won by the Suns in the first quarter itself. The final box score stands at 111-140 favoring the Phoenix Suns. An embarrassing 29 points defeat for the veteran roster hand-picked by LeGM which was expected to lift the championship even before the season started. Currently, the Los Angeles Lakers are ranked as the ninth seed in the western conference with the record of 29 wins and 28 losses at .433.
LeBron James in the game had 31 points, 6 assists and 7 rebounds. While Devin Booker got 30 points, 10 assists and 2 rebounds with the dub. Even though LeBron made it to his very own elite club of 10k each in points, assists and rebounds today. With six minutes and thirty-seven seconds remaining for the second quarter to end and the Lakers being down by twenty big points (Lakers 40 – 60 Suns). A time-out was called and LeBron James going back to the bench looked more exhausted than ever. Suddenly it looked like he has lost all his motivation and even qualities like leadership and team management also team handling. Fans noticing this now want him to retire since they think he’s done.
