Grant Williams was drafted by the Boston Celtics as the 22nd overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He was a literal steal for the Celtics, while many doubted their move, he hasn’t been disappointing at all and has lived up to the expectations the franchise had from him. As of now, he’s suiting up for the Celtics in his fourth year in the league. Grant Williams is the go-to guy for the coaching staff when they need to raise the defensive level with some good shooting, especially in the perimeter area.

The Boston Celtics really trust their young forward and even had him starting the games early in his career. Grant Williams in just two seasons claimed himself the title of “knockdown shooter”, who can’t be left open. He also has displayed the perfect use of his size and length at 6 ft 6 in on the defensive end. Grant Williams was also a very important key player during the Boston Celtics’ trip to NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors in the 2021-2022 season.

As of now, Grant Williams is helping the Celtics to re-run their trip to finals. As he’s locked in during the post-season and is coming in very handy whenever asked to suit up. This offseason he’ll be getting a bag and there’s a great possibility the Celtics would have him back. As his impact isn’t just limited to the court, he also brings his energy to the locker room to have the team light and good to ball out.
