Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors surprisingly fell short against the Denver Nuggets once again this season. This time Monte Morris handed them an embarrassing loss as he drilled a game-winning three-pointer on Stephen Curry’s face and won the game for Denver Nuggets. The game was closely contested in the end but Nikola Jokic’s squad took the charge in the fourth quarter and got the dub. As the final score stands at 117-116.
Currently, the Golden State Warriors are ranked as the second seed in the western conference with the record of 42 wins and 17 losses at .712. On the other hand, the Denver Nuggets are ranked as the sixth seed in the western conference with the record of 33 wins and 25 losses at .569. The match-up was pretty dominated by the Warriors for the first half but Nikola Jokic taking over the control in the second half made a major comeback as he dropped 35 points, 8 assists and 17 rebounds.

Stephen Curry had 25 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds but it is Monte Morris who has broken the internet with a clutch three which won the game. Monte Morris had 13 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds in the game while being good on the offensive end as his buzzer-beater made a big difference and also played some better defense as he tried to lock down many stars from the other end and brought the lead for the team with a good steal.

Stephen Curry hitting a three-pointer on Nuggets gave the Warriors a 2 point lead. But the Nuggets replied back strong with an IQ play. As Nikola Jokic grabbing all the attention on the court brought the defense in the post area which made Monte Morris wide open near the line as he sinked a three-pointer on Steph after Nikola assisted him with the ball.
