Tom Brady coming out of retirement

Tom Brady might as well try sticking a little longer as Cristiano Ronaldo who is also quite old to be playing in the topflight is still racking up goals. Nick Wright believes that in doing so LeBron James is getting overshadowed after LeBron James is personally having a great season.
Tom Brady retired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this offseason, after 22 years in the NFL and winning 7 Super Bowl titles and setting numerous passing records. He has now come back from retirement after just 40 days and now has announced his return. People are comparing Tom Brady to Michael Jordan because of the number of titles they both have. Co-host of the First Things First Nick Wright believes that due to this reason he has been overshadowing LeBron James and the greatness the Lakers superstar is delivering.

Nick Wright explains how Tom Brady is overshadowing LeBron James’s season

Tom Brady is 43 years old; he was a World Champion since, and when he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after 20 years with the Patriots, he won another Super Bowl. He is being considered the Gold Standard in Athletes of this generation; he has been putting MVP level performances for the last 2 years. LeBron James is 37 and in his 19th season in the NBA and is having a blast of a season, except for the fact that his team overall is not up to his standards, he has been dragging the Lakers this season, and it is one of the reasons he is not getting the respect due to him.
LeBron James has put up 2 50-points performances and has become one of the 5 oldest players to have scored 50-points at the age of 37. In his 19th season his stats speak for themselves, he is averaging 29.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.2 assists. These are the stats that also show that he has changed his games from being a facilitator to becoming a scorer, as he has been getting buckets for the Purple and Gold.
Nick Wright appeared on Colin Cowherd Podcast and explained his part, “I actually think [Cowherd’s] guy Tom Brady, in a weird way, has caused people to appreciate LeBron’s season a little less. Because Brady won a Super Bowl at 43 [and] was a leading candidate for league MVP at age 44. So I think people are like, ‘Yeah, this is the era of old athletes dominating.’ But we’ve never seen anything close to this in the NBA. Nothing close to it previously.”
