“He’s coming for the GOAT tag” LeBron James’ latest scoring spree is at Wilt Chamberlain level

Wilt Chamberlain and LeBron James

On one hand where Los Angeles Lakers have majorly suffered since the beginning of the 2021-22 season, LeBron James has proven to be the only bright light for the purple and gold army. His most recent 50-point explosion against the Washington Wizards, not only took him to the numero uno spot on the leader board (of 2021-22 season surpassing Joel Embiid) but his latest scoring spree suggests that the King is at Wilt Chamberlain’s scoring level.

That being said, with just over 15 games remaining for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2021-22 season, LeBron James’ rise to top-form will be a must, if Frank Vogel wants his team to overcome the embarrassment of last playoffs.

Knowing that Anthony Davis will soon be available, LeBron James’ taking charge of his depleted side, could be a great sight for the Laker Nation. Moreover, even Russell Westbrook has been constantly improving his scoring prowess, but will he be able to support AD and LeBron, when the season enters its last stage? Remains to be seen.

For now, all eyes will be on the Lakers as they lock horns against the best side in the 2021-22 season, Phoenix Suns in their next matchup. Will LeBron lead the charge against Chris Paul less Suns? Surely, we are in for a mouth-watering contest.
