Jayson Tatum and Kobe Bryant

Jayson Tatum took the world by storm with his performance in the Boston Celtics’ game against the Brooklyn Nets which was an absolute rollercoaster and led the way for his team to beat their rivals with a masterful performance which has brought him on the map if he previously was going unnoticed. Tatum who is severely underrated is now reminding everyone why they need to put some respect on his name, and his voice is getting equally reciprocated by the panelists from ESPN who have brought a parallel between his playing style and that of the legend Kobe Bryant and have identified similar talent in the young gun.

Jayson Tatum definitely showed up in the Celtics’ game against the Nets which the former won by a close 6-point margin as the match was nothing less than a rollercoaster as also stated by the man Tatum himself. But the best part about that match despite a multitude of ups and downs for the Celtics was the consistent performance by their main man, Jayson Tatum, who currently averages a career best of around 27 points per game, and is in the absolute best of his career so far.

The best compliment one could receive from any NBA Pundit would be to be compared to one of the greatest NBA players of all time, “The Mamba” Kobe Bryant, and that is exactly what happened to Tatum who was put ahead in the line which contains the likes of Luka Doncic and JA Morant as being one of the most impactful young talents in the league.

JWill argued that Tatum reminds him of none other than the Mamba Kobe Bryant and he finds all of his qualities in Jayson Tatum, after which he also said that the trade isn’t possible but if the Lakers need something to turn the tides around for their team, Tatum would be the perfect addition to their squad with his playing stye similar to that of Kobe Bryant and also after he has built his muscles and widened his frame, nothing gets better than the player, who should be given his long due flowers.

Keyshawn Davis argued that more than the playing styles, the mentality should also match to which JWill replied that the mentality has always been there with Tatum, to prove which he gave an example that the player never shies away from having the ball to himself and playing even in tense situations.

Let us now take a closer look at the match between the Nets and the Celtics.
