With the world of sports being divided on his vaccine stance, the latest to opinionate upon the same is Australian basketball Patty Mills.
The Novak Djokovic saga seems to develop a new twist every second hour. Two days ago, the World no.1 Serbian Tennis player successfully appealed against the denial of his VISA and was allowed entry in Melbourne, for the first grand slam of the year, where he aims to defend his title. With the latest twist, Brooklyn Nets star Patty Mills has opinionated upon how he feels about an unvaccinated athlete entering into his country’s borders.

What was opinionated by Patty Mills on Novak Djokovic?
Just like Patty Mills’ teammates Kyrie Irving, Novak Djokovic has also decided to not get himself vaccinated and has been travelling across different countries, something for which he has been criticized by many sports personnel earlier. The latest to add to this is, Patty Mills who has called out the former for his double standards.
Mills was asked if he thought the rules of being vaccinated to enter Australia should apply to everyone, he responded with a specific critique, saying “Yeah. I won an Olympic medal and quarantined in a hotel for two weeks.”
That being said, Djokovic is in Melbourne and practicing for the tournament. However, the saga is not over. The country’s immigration minister can overturn the judge’s ruling. That would result Djokovic to be forced to leave the country and be banned for three years from re-entry.
