“If Kawhi Leonard and Paul George return full strength, the Clippers are ‘THE TEAM’ in the West” Skip Bayless issues interesting take for 2022-23 season
Skip Bayless predicts on Paul George and Kawhi Leonard
The Los Angeles Clippers’ season ended on Friday night when they got knocked out by the New Orleans Pelicans in the final game of the play-in tournament but sports analyst Skip Bayless believes that Clipper will be the toughest team in the west next season when their two-star forwards will make their comeback with full-recovery.
The LA-based franchise lost their small forward Kawhi Leonard during the end of the last season when he got an ACL tear on his right knee after which he underwent surgery and was unable to make his appearance on the court for the whole season. In his absence, Paul George lead the team but even he faced an elbow injury in the late December of 2021, which imbalanced the whole equation of Clippers in this season.
But as soon as the regular season was ending for the Clippers, Paul George made his comeback and again lift the morale of the team which even raised the hope of fans that the Clippers will run a deep playoff this season. Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to the Clippers’ plan in the second game of the play-in where they were against the Pelicans, PG was ruled out due to NBA’s health and safety protocols which eventually become the reason for their loss by 105-101.

Skip Bayless predicts HOT TAKE on the Clippers for the upcoming 2022-23 NBA season
The season has finally ended for the whole franchise, but many still have hope from the team that they will make a badass come back next season. FS1 analyst Skip Bayless is one of them who believes that the healthy duo of Kawhi and PG will make the LAC lead in the west next season.
After the Clippers got knockout, Skip Bayless immediately took things on Twitter and tweeted, “If Kawhi and Paul George are back full strength next year, the Clippers will be the team to beat in the West.”
Well, whatever Bayless has tweeted feels nothing wrong because in the majority of the season the Clippers were shorthanded still, they managed to show some unexceptional game this season with Reggie Jackson, Normal Powell, Luke Kennard, and Robert Covington. And if we add fit Kawhi and PG there is no doubt that they will dominate the whole NBA next season.
