Devin Booker can’t help but laugh on a controversial what-if claim by Los Angeles Lakers’ Anthony Davis. The rivalry is already on as the play-offs near with the Lakers currently being in the play-in tournament having fair chances to make it to the postseason and the Phoenix Suns lead the western conference with the best record in the league. Both the teams last season had a very controversial play-offs series between them where the Suns threw the defending champions out of the run while getting criticized for the Lakers being injured and they just got an easy passage. But the continued domination by their end has really ended all those takes since they prove it again.
Recently, the Phoenix Suns hosted the Los Angeles Lakers at the Footprint Center. The Suns got the dub out-scoring the Lakers in the first quarter itself as the score at the end of first was 48-22. The final box score stands at 111-140 favoring the Phoenix Suns. After the game, many shots were fired and exchanged between the two stars from each side. The side-lined Anthony Davis started the battle with a controversial take of his where he stated the Lakers would have won the series last year if he was healthy and everyone around knows that including the Suns and their players himself.
Devin Booker in the game dropped 30 points, 10 assists and 2 rebounds while also dropping Anthony Davis’ controversial claim in fashion. As just laughing out to what the big guy said Booker shut him downed with a savage response in the post-game interview while the reporters tried to get some of his words out. But Booker knowing how it works and when it works outplayed everyone and got all the Dubs he wanted to.

Devin Booker discussing and replying to the claims and questions from the media quoted: “If if was a fifth, we’d all be drunk. If my auntie had something between her legs, she’d be my uncle. There’s a lot of if’s in this game. And you look at history along the lines, there’s something that comes up for every team during every season. Instead of just taking the high route and going, you have to make a comment like that.”
Devin got the job done in style but the question still stays and continues as it surrounds a healthy Anthony Davis which hasn’t been seen since last season. Even today some fans and analysts count on him being healthy and carrying the Lakers to Championship which is not at all wrong since he has the potential to. But nothing can be confirmed or said about because again he sits on the bench due to injuries and him being a long-term player for a stretch for a particular franchise is very concerning. Talking about the rivalry it continues and if the Lakers make it to the playoffs we may again find them going head to head against each other.
