The Charlotte Hornets this season have surprised the league and are looking like a playoff lock after years. Charlotte Hornets are currently on 8th position of the eastern conference ranking with the record of 15-13 (W-L). The off-season for last two years have been good for the Hornets since the changes they made in the roster by drafting, signing and trading around while building a good core looks quite successful.


The main star of Charlotte Hornets who is responsible for the teams success is Miles Bridges the young, energetic and super athletic power forward of the team. Bridges was drafted in 2018 by Los Angeles Clippers and was traded to the Hornets and has lived up to the expectations league had from him. Miles has always stepped up whenever needed and also clutched many games in the final seconds.

Miles Bridges is averaging 20.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists this season. His shooting skills and athleticism which he uses to drive towards the rim and go up while gifting the defender a poster is a perfect combo which has been useful for the Hornets. The explosiveness and shot making skills he hold are praised all around the league and his decision making while leading the young core also looks good and is getting better game by game.

Washington was drafted by the Hornets in 2019 and since then is playing with Miles Bridges and many times both the players have backed each other and also showed love and appreciation.


PJ Washington recently took on to twitter posting a tweet saying “If @MilesBridges ain’t an allstar I don’t know who is”. Washington backed up his teammate so he can get the correct recognition and somewhere he is right. Miles Bridges has really been playing like a All-star this season where he is seen dropping 25 points any night he wants to while making a big difference on both the end of the court since he is also a tough defender who can block shots easily.
