Desmond Bane has been one of Memphis Grizzlies’ best players in the 2021-22 season. Even when stars like JA Morant were side-lined, it was the young scorer who took on the responsibility to lead the charts for the team. Especially against Los Angeles Lakers, it seems like the marquee player gets excited. Moreover, this time he went onto challenge nobody else, but LeBron James, leaving the fans on Twitter completely bamboozled.

There is no denying that Desmond Bane is a strong player, who knows his way to score inside the paint, be it against any team. Now, with the Grizzlies travelling to the Crypto.com arena to lock horns against the Lakers, Bane seems to have gathered different courage as he bumped into the 37-years-old arguable G.O.A.T and followed it up by some verbal banter as well.

Getting under the skin of LeBron James, whilst you team is handsomely winning is not a new scenario for the fans to witness in the 2021-22 season. But with Desmond Bane deciding to unnecessary elbow LeBron from behind, some fans surely could not understand the need of such actions.

The Lakers are left depleted as they finally seem to have run out of gas during the contest with Memphis Grizzlies. With LeBron James being the only scorer to register points in double digits, the entire purple and gold army seem to have run out of energy.

Having said that, this time Bane seems to have been leading the charts for the Memphis Grizzlies as he has knocked team-high 21 points and surely wants to make his claim to stand alongside LeBron James.

It seems like the Lakers’ winning streak is coming to an end, with the Grizzlies taking a 24-point lead with the last quarter to play as of writing. But it remains to be seen whether or not LeBron will comment upon this particular play from Desmond Bane in the post-game interview.
