Andrew Wiggins, the small forward for the Golden State Warriors, has been given the green light to play in their upcoming playoff game against the Sacramento Kings. He had been absent since February 13 due to a family emergency. NBA insider Shams Charania reports that Wiggins will likely come off the bench for a 20-to-25 minute role, while the Warriors will stick with the five-man lineup used in their final games. 

However, they may also opt for a small ball approach with Jonathan Kuminga. Wiggins is expected to have a significant impact alongside Jordan Poole and Gary Payton II in the second unit.

The news has been welcomed by Warriors fans who gave Wiggins a standing ovation when he made his return in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier this month. With Wiggins back on the court, the Warriors have a significant advantage on both ends of the floor, and they will be hoping to capitalize on it in their playoff campaign.

Wiggins’ presence will undoubtedly add more firepower to the Warriors’ already potent offense, which features the likes of Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. The Warriors will be hoping that Wiggins can help them make a deep run in the playoffs and possibly even win another championship.
