Is LeBron James playing tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans?

LeBron James Vs the Mavericks
The Western Conference currently seems like a movie script considering how tightly contested it is. More drama seems to unfold with every passing day as 4 teams have the same record. The Los Angeles Lakers are one of them and currently sit at the 9th seed with a record of 33-35. The Lakers Revamped their roster at the trade deadline and acquired pieces like Malik Beasley, D’Angelo Russell and Jared Vanderbilt.
The roster depth is really good compared to what it was and it has been reflected in the performances post the all-star break. The Lakers have won 6 out of their 9 games including 2 wins against defending champs Golden State Warriors.
But, they suffered a blow when their star forward LeBron James heard a pop in his right leg against the Dallas Mavericks on February 26. Although he finished the game, scans revealed that it was a tendon injury.
Is LeBron James playing tonight vs the Pelicans?
LeBron James is yet to be reevaluated and remains out for tonight’s game vs the Pelicans. However, the Lakers have listed the reason for his absence to be foot soreness, instead of a Tendon Injury. The Good news was that LeBron James had come out of his walking boot and had joined the team in their previous loss to the New York Knicks.
The Lakers and Pelicans have the exact same record but the Lakers are placed above the Pelicans as they have a 2-1 edge over the Pelicans from their previous matchup. This game is of immense importance for both teams as its result could majorly alter the Western Conference.

LeBron James Fantasy Impact
There are only 14 games left in the season for the Lakers and after a week, they’ll have just under 10 games remaining just when he is re-evaluated. It sounds like James returning for the final 5-7 games or so is best case scenario. Anthony Davis and the rest of the team will have to hold it down as the Lakers try to enter the play-in.
