When he reached 38,000 points, LeBron James extended his amazing trend of becoming the youngest player to ever accumulate 1000 points in NBA history.  Even though he hasn’t been acknowledged as such during his career, Bron will go down as one of the best scorers in NBA history. For far too long, his amazing ability to put up incredible numbers, every season went unnoticed, but as he continues to play well in the latter stages of his career, people are starting to show him their appreciation.

Following his 38,000th point against the Philadelphia 76ers, he continued one of the NBA’s most amazing streaks. LeBron James has continued to be the NBA’s youngest player to score every 1,000 points. Although Luka Doncic has been mentioned as a potential rival to LBJ in terms of scoring records, even he isn’t near the age records LBJ has previously established.

Because no record is ever guaranteed to stand the test of time, LeBron James’ accomplishments will eventually be challenged by a talented rookie. Unless the league allows high school students to rejoin the league, the first 1,000 might be tough to surpass. The first record, which gives him an advantage over everyone else in terms of age, is unassailable until that time.

In order to snap their three-game losing streak, the Los Angeles Lakers desperately needed a victory when they played the Houston Rockets on Monday. LeBron James was the sole reason they were able to win, 140-132 was the final score.

The 38-year-old recorded a season-high 48 points on 16 of 26 shooting, added 11 of 12 free throws, eight rebounds, and nine assists, and finished with a total of 48 points on 16 of 26 shooting. James also managed to shoot 5-of-10 from beyond the arc, which was a welcome surprise considering how inconsistent he has been all season.

In his 20 seasons in the NBA, LeBron James hasn’t simply survived; he’s excelled. He scored 40 points for the third time this season on Monday. Since he scored 47 points against the Hawks in Atlanta on his 38th birthday, the rest have all followed. Only Michael Jordan (12 times) has scored 40 or more points more often than the King has since turning 35.

LeBron James has received a lot of flak for being among the NBA players who aren’t particularly clutch. And it seems that the man has finally paid attention to the verbal abuse he has endured from the NBA community for years.
