“It’s happening!” James Harden to Sixers in turn for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and Andre Drummond
James Harden-Ben Simmons Trade
James Harden seems to have a tough time on his hand yet again as he approaches a new trade deadline. Having already experienced a rough time with the Brooklyn Nets who are miserably falling behind in the Eastern Conference Standing, without Kevin Durant. It seems like Harden earlier, revealed his desire to leave the championship caliber team after they have lost 9-straight games. From what it stands, the Brooklyn Nets have dropped from #1 seed to #8, behind Boston Celtics.
That being said, as February 10 is the trade deadline, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that James Harden is all set to part ways with the Nets. Moreover, Steve Nash’s team is going to acquire Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and Ben Simmons. This seems to be a win-win trade for both the teams, as they fill in all their voids by acquiring the right set of players.

James Harden-Ben Simmons trade to be official?
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski stated in his latest tweeted, “The Brooklyn Nets are trading James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks, sources tell ESPN.”
From a Brooklyn Nets perspective, the team gets the services of Ben Simmons, whose defensive prowess needs to introduction. Along with Andre Drummond, who can be a dominant force around the rim. Lastly, the like of Seth Curry is going to help Irving and KD on the offensive board.
On the other hand, for the Joel Embiid led team, James Harden’s emergence will be quiet a challenging ride as the Beard has not been at his best on either end of the floor. Yet with a new team, comes a brand-new chance. Will the Bear be able to solidify his partnership with Joel Embiid after leaving the Big 3? Remains to be seen.
As things stand, it seems like the official emblem is missing from this trade but as per Adrian Wojnarowski, the verbal agreement is all set and done as we approach the last few hours of the deadline.
