“It’s horrible” LeBron James issues worrisome comments after ankle tweak vs Pelicans
LeBron James
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers once again fell short against the New Orleans Pelicans. A game the fans expected the team to win to improve their record as the playoffs near and still the Lakers don’t even have a fixed play-in tournament spot. The team has proved that they are consistently inconsistent when it comes to winning games for a better run during the postseason. The veteran roster hand-picked by LeGM (LeBron James) himself is not enough for the Lakers to step up and win some matches. As the supporting cast fails to back up King James whenever needed to.
Recently, the New Orleans Pelicans hosted the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers at Smoothie King Center. The game was dominated by the Los Angeles Lakers for most of the time. But once again they gave away a 23 points lead and added another loss to their record. The final box score stands at 116-108 favoring the New Orleans Pelicans. Currently, the Los Angeles Lakers are ranked as the tenth seed in the western conference with the record of 31 wins and 43 losses at .419.
In the game, LeBron James dropped 39 points, 5 assists, and 9 rebounds. But also got himself injured in the second quarter with ten minutes and twenty-four seconds remaining. As he rolled his ankle in a contest to get an offensive rebound for the team which though got converted into a bucket. The roll was very rough as the clip of it stands viral on the internet but still, the game being important he stayed locked in trying his best.

LeBron James on getting his ankle tweaked
LeBron James speaking about his ankle injury started by explaining how he and Jaxson Hayes stepped at the same time which caused the fall. Further, he quoted: “I mean I have no idea how I finished the game. To be honest, after watching the replay it’s pretty nasty… Oh, it’s horrible. It’s horrible right now and I am fortunate we are able to hop in the flight too so would just get the treatment around the clock.” Adding to it the effect the injury got on the game he quoted: “I lost all explosiveness. … A lot of my game was on the perimeter after that [ankle injury].”
LeBron James being 37 years old and playing in his 19th season while getting injured in the lower body again and again. Is really a matter of concern for the King and the franchise as it is him who is carrying the squad around with MVP calibre performances. Since the other stars are underperforming or sidelined. It is high time for the Los Angeles Lakers to step up and win all the remaining games as even one loss from now can get them out of the play-in tournament. Since the San Antonio Spurs are standing right behind them wanting to make it to the post-season.
