Los Angeles Lakers confirmed the sacking of Head Coach Frank Vogel as the official statement was released by the front office. LeBron James refuses to have an idea about the sacking.

LeBron James and co are very disappointed with the flat Lakers season. A team stacked with several all-stars, rookie of the year winner, and former MVPs never reached the hype and level that was expected from them. Rather the performance graph was more flat or downward than showing any signs of improvement. Los Angeles Lakers took no time taking drastic actions and head coach Fran Vogel was 1st to see the doors.

When asked about LeBron having any clue about the sacking, James said that he was not informed by the franchise and he also heard the news as everyone else did – through the Lakers’ official release. The Star power of LeBron James is considered to be the driving force behind every move his associated franchise makes, but LeBron denies any such occurrences regarding Vogel Sacking.

LeBron James’ presence on the team is sort of guaranteed playoff spot for any mid-table NBA franchise. But still have so much star power and experienced players on the Roaster, Los Angeles Lakers had one of the dreadful seasons in their franchise history.

LeBron cited the lack of Chemistry between him, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis hampered the season for the Lakers. Injuries to either player restricted their dynamic trio play just 21 games together in a complete 82-game season.

Also, LeBron said he would make his “extension decision as and when the time permits. LeBron is eligible for 2-years extension with the Lakers. He has time til early August t sign an extension. On other players, LeBron clearly gives the final call to the Franchise, He said, “It’s not my decision to say ‘This is who we should bring back on the roster.'”

Similarly, for outgoing Frank Vogel, LBJ Said, “I respect Frank as a coach and as a man..He’s a man who gives everything to the game…At the end of the day, I don’t know what’s going to happen with Frank and him being here. But I have nothing but respect for him.”

Los Angeles Lakers are aware of the complete situation around LeBron James and they will be working on numbers to convince the King to stay put in Hollywood.
