In their victory against the Spurs, Grizzlies’ star player and Point Guard scored a season high 41 points, accompanied by 8 assists and 5 rebounds in the 37 minutes that he played.

Morant was heaped with praises for his masterful performance after he tied his season high, and drew attention to the talent he possesses and his overall performance. He shot an efficient 15-of-28 and lead the way for his team, providing them the momentum they needed in order to win this highly competitive match against the Spurs.
In the competitive situation they were in the second half, Morant scored the 26 points of his 41 and knocked down 6 free throws in the last 2 minutes helping the team pull it off.
Morant’s teammate, Grizzlies’ forward Jaren Jackson Jr. said “We’ve got probably the most clutch performer in the game at our point guard position” and Morant said, “I don’t care who’s down there, I’m not afraid to finish against you” also adding, “My job is to score the basketball when I’m in the paint. If you’re in the way, I’m still trying to finish the play.”
When asked about where he would watch tomorrow night’s All-Star starters announcement, Ja said “Pretty much hoping I can go spend my time with my grandma, man. Watch it there. Pretty much why I sat out. It’s tough. I was just trying to process everything. Now I’m kind of frustrated, my flight got cancelled to go see her. I’m just trying to find a way to my grandma” he then also expressed his love for his grandmother by adding “Grandma, if you’re watching, that game there was for you”

Morant’s grandma currently struggles to fight cancer, due to which he skipped practice on Tuesday, and even in these tough conditions, Morant managed to put a remarkably exceptional performance, against such a tough team.

Memphis Grizzlies managed to pull a victory in a competitive match against the San Antoni Spurs.
Grizzlies’ Point Guard Ja Morant lead the way for the team throughout the match, while being assisted by Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane.
The match between both the teams was very competitive from the beginning, and at the end of the first half, the Grizzlies had a nominal lead of 61-58 while both the teams also tied the scores at 106-106 with 4 minutes remaining in the match. San Antonio did keep their deficit to single digits in the third and fourth quarter but couldn’t complete the rally and stayed behind on the scoresheet at the end of the match.

In his 37 games played, Morant is averaging an excellent 25.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.9 assists, and it is almost sure that Morant’s name might be announced in the All-Stars starters, while hopefully he will be watching it with his grandma.
