Fox Sports’ Jason Whitlock has been the biggest criticizer for LeBron James through the past few years but one of his statements in 2019 is highly recalled by fans where he called LBJ a “fame and social media junkie” after the recent scrutiny between Lebron and the Lakers front office.

The Lakers’ performance is nothing but is worst this season despite being full of stars, the teams’ early campaign was on high expectations by fans but the situation for them has not been stable even after the all-star week. The fans are already annoyed by the Lakers’ bad results and are even getting angrier after Lebron shared his views on playing with his son.

LeBron is also getting caught up in the heat of the fans because of his personal tussle and opinions, as a faction of fans also claims that through the Lakers he is using his fame to get the attention of the world on his son. This scenario shows the flashback when Whitlock argued about the same thing on the four-time MVP.

When Bronny was only 14, LeBron went to AAU tournaments where his son was playing for his school team, while some might call that being an invested and excited parent but Whitlock was not amused by that.

“It’s inappropriate,” Whitlock said. “It points to how much fame has inevitably changed LeBron over the past decade. Fame is a drug more potent and dangerous than cocaine. LeBron is a fame and social media junkie. He moved to Los Angeles looking for a better high.”

Whitlock thinks that LeBron came to the Lakers from the Cleveland Cavaliers because of his hunger for fame. Although Bronny has not entered the NBA yet, but when he will make his first appearance the scene might get even more dramatic which will be unavoidable for him.
