Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler’s coffee-selling schtick during the NBA Bio bubble has proven to be much more than just a joke. The 2021 All-Star went onto make his Big Face Coffee a big thing, by promoting it in the Miami Open 2022. Surely, a business Butler would like to make big after his days on the court.

With the Miami Heat all set to battle it out against the top teams in the Eastern Conference playoff, Jimmy Butler has a huge role to play. Amid such tensed moments, it is satisfying to see Heat’s marquee taking some time off the court, to make a name for himself, off the NBA court.

Jimmy Butler told Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press that the coffee shop is something that can aid his pursuit of a title with the Heat.  Having something to look forward to other than basketball allows him to unwind, which is key for him. 

“Too much of any good thing is always a bad thing. I live by that. So, I try to take it piece by piece, day by day, realizing that I do keep the main thing the main thing — that is basketball. I do want to win a championship. We all know that. I do want to be healthy. We all know that. But if I’m too locked in, I forget about everything else, everybody else. And I don’t want to do that.”

That being said, Butler’s Heat is 47-25 in the regular season to this point, and is extending their lead on the numero uno spot. With Miami’s army already suffering an NBA Final loss behind Butler, things can extensively change in the 2021-22 playoffs, as the Heat are looking like a more comprehensive unit. 

Will Miami Heat be able to finally break the jinx and win an NBA title after almost two decades? Remains to be seen as the hoop festivity continues to mark the end of the 2021-22 regular season.
