Joel Embiid takes wild shot at former Sixers GM Bryan Colangelo over embarrassing burner scandal

Bryan Colangelo and Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid has emerged as one of the finest big man scorers this league has ever seen. Having the ability to score precisely around the rim and also from downtown, has made the 27-years-old a justified MVP contender for consecutive seasons. Moreover, since the arrival of James Harden, it seems like Embiid has found his rhythm to be more accurate, on the court as well as off it.

To those who are not aware what I am talking about, with the Philadelphia 76ers on the roll, Joel Embiid is not backing down from anyone. Be it the former Sixers GM Bryan Colangelo in this case. Philadelphia 76ers latest win over the Knicks, made sure Embiid discussed all the turmoil he endured with the franchise, including “general managers using burner accounts talking trash on their players.” Which evidently was a shot at Colangelo.

What was opinionated by Joel Embiid on former Sixers’ GM Bryan Colangelo
Marquee player, Joel Embiid found a new slant for Colangelo, it’s safe to say that he moved on from the insane scandal. The former GM tweeting about players like a selfish punk rocked the franchise. Embiid dealt not only with the team’s lead front-office executive acting like a tool but also countless injuries and frequent roster turnover. He fought through it all to become one of the best players in the NBA.
That being said with Embiid having the time of his life in Philadelphia with Harden and Maxey coming to form, it seems like team could finally be championship contenders. Not only that, the Sixers are undefeated ever since the Beard has arrived. Now, it does look like Morey might have given more players for the trade of his friend, but it surely was worth every penny.

Finally, the Sixers are looking like a team which can play all around Joel Embiid, but will that be enough to take them across the line and into the NBA Finals? Remains to be seen as the hooping bonanza of the 2021-22 season continues in full form.
