“Jordan threw his support behind the King” Jack MacMullan opens up about LeBron James’ support of Stephen Curry during Donald Trump-White House fiasco

Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry and LeBron James have been two of the greatest rivals who have met in the NBA Finals for consecutive years. While the former got the better on 3 out of 4 occasions, there seemed to be huge respect between these two. LeBron was quick to showcase the same when Donald Trump decided to cancel the visit of Golden State Warriors in 2017.

To those who are not aware, the fiasco of Trump cancelling the trip of the NBA Champions into the White House turned to be a very big deal. On the same note, LeBron lashed out of Trump, defending his dear friend and companion, Stephen Curry. Little did anyone know, Jack MacMullan decided to throw more information on the same incident.

Now to bring everyone on the same page, Donald Trump decided to diss LeBron James by saying that he loves Michael Jordan. He definitely tried to get into James’ head as it is known to all that the GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and James has been prevalent for a long time.

Michael Jordan is generally not someone who comments on such issues. However, this time he decided to come in support of his fellow athlete. Speaking of Jordan extending his support for James, Jake MacMullan of ‘The Ringer’ said, “But Jordan threw his support behind LeBron James”.

Perhaps LeBron James’ spoken off reaction was the beginning of his evident spat with the former President of United States. Everyone would be aware of the hatred between the two, but that being said, it is praise-worthy to see the respect between the two arguable GOATS of the league.

Now with the 2021-22 NBA postseason starting, which team will pave their way by lifting the silverware and meeting the President in White House? With speculations up in the air, it is surely going to be an interesting sight to witness mega stars in action.
