“Just like you are but u rather be a peasant”: Kevin Durant’s banter with Nick Wright reaches crescendo; Rates him below Giannis Antetokounmpo

Nick Wright has started a war with Kevin Durant as he not only attacked him on Twitter but also ranked him below Giannis Antetokounmpo. Everyone is very well aware of Kevin Durant and his tweets especially the ones which criticize or attack him. So a response from his side was very expected after he was attacked by the host of Fox Sports Media Group’s “First Things First”. Nick Wright often rides the bus of LeBron James as he is more appreciative of him while he points out at flaws of other superstars and KD most of the time falls on his critical end so all the takes and exchanges that happened between the two were expected.

Recently, the Brooklyn Nets hosted the Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee Bucks at Barclays Center. The game was very closely contested and even got extended to over time as no one gave up in the rally to contest and prove themselves as the better one. The Bucks got the last laugh as Giannis Antetokounmpo stepped up in the clutch and delivered. The final box score stands at 119-120 favoring the Milwaukee Bucks. Currently, under the leadership of Kevin Durant, the Brooklyn Nets are ranked as the 8^th seed in the eastern conference with the record of 40 wins and 37 losses at .519.

In the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 44 points, 6 assists, and 14 rebounds while Kevin Durant had 26 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds. The game added a lot of content to the biggest rivalry between the two superstars in the eastern conference as the play-offs approach. So the media tried their best to make the most out of it and Nick Wright even succeed as he is amid a banter with Kevin Durant and trends all over the internet.

Nick Wright during the game tweeted many times where he showcased Giannis Antetokounmpo over Kevin Durant. But the banter started where in a tweet of him feeling bad for Kevin Durant he quoted: “I legit feel for KD… he had to be 2^nd best to LeBron for a decade and the MOMENT he might’ve passed LeBron, Giannis passed him. 2^nd player out of high school. 2^nd pick in the draft. 2^nd best player in the NBA for life. Legit awful luck.” Kevin Durant sarcastically replying to it via a tweet quoted: “Don’t feel bad for the god. Life has been incredible little Nicky ?”

But it all didn’t stop there as Nick Wright once again attacked KD and this time meant serious business as he brought Giannis Antetokounmpo into the conversation and quoted: “Honest question before bed… if KD is a “God”, what does that make Giannis???.” This was a disrespectful tweet as many fans to have shown their hate for it. But Kevin Durant being the better one once again topped Nick Wright as replying to him he tweeted: “A god. Just like you are but u rather be a peasant” and the reference was also disrespectful.

Nick Wright though even failing many of his shots has still not given up as he is spiced up on the internet and targeting the missed game winners of KD he quoted: “Good morning! While do I appreciate KD saying I have the option to be “a god like him”, I suppose we’ll have to address the fact that he had as many bizarre tweets to me as he had missed game winners last night.” Now the divided internet waits for a reply from Kevin Durant as they demand more of it while being hyped up for a playoff series if happened between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks.
