Kevin Durant and Nets all set to part-ways with 4-time All-Star before trade deadline

Paul Millsap in action for Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets have experienced a tough ride without Kevin Durant in the 2021-22 season. Having slipped from second seed to sixth (as of writing) without their marquee player, it seems like Steve Nash’s team is all set to part ways with a 4-time All-Star before the trade deadline in February.
The 36-years-old veteran spoken about here is Paul Millsap, who’s impressive at Barclays Center hasn’t been impressive. Moreover, with the whispers of a James Harden trade already in the books for next season, Paul Millsap might be on his way out before the All-Star break.

Paul Millsap all set to leave Brooklyn Nets

NBA Insider Paul Millsap of Athletic reported that the Nets and Paul Millsap have already made a deal upon the remainder of the 2021-22 season. Millsap joined the Nets as a free agent last September. He’s barely made an impact on the squad, and it seems that the 36-year-old has grown tired of his limited role with the team. In 24 games played for the Nets this season, he has produced averages of just 3.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 11.3 minutes of action.
That being said, Paul Millsap is far from his best. Yet his experience could be used efficiently and in a much-better way alongside young players, who are trying to make a championship run in the highly competitive 2021-22 season.
