The feud between Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen ignites during the 75th-anniversary anniversary celebration of the NBA. Time heals everything, but that doesn’t seem to be the case in the beef between these two. The former Boston Celtics teammates are so much against each other that they don’t want to feel their presence, even if they are crossing their paths or standing next to each other.
On Sunday night, the former Celtics duo was in Cleveland as they both were placed in the top 75 players list who had their illustrious career in the NBA. Many former legends, rivals, opponents came together to enjoy the NBA’s 75th anniversary forgetting about their past disputes but Garnett and Allen were the exceptions.
During the halftime of the 2022 NBA All-star game, the members of the 75th-anniversary team were being honored for their contribution to the game and league. But when Allen joins the stage, it suddenly changed the mood of this former teammate Kevin Garnett.

The beef between Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen reaches to the NBA’s anniversary celebration
While joining the celebration, Allen ignored his former buddy, as if there was no one standing, and dabbed up with LeBron James, which led to an awkward reaction by Garnett. This reaction by Garnett has flooded social media with jokes from fans as they were shocked to notice that their beef is still on.
From 2007 to 2012, Garnett and Allen, both played together for the Boston Celtics as they were even able to win a championship in 2008. But the dispute between them started when Ray suddenly decided to join hands with the Miami heats without discussing it with his buddy Garnett.
In 2020, Ray Allen talked about his unending dispute with KG, he said, “I never had any ill will towards Kevin. This is not a two-way argument or debate. This is him. He dug his heels in the sand and he decided I’m not a brother of his anymore and so I said ‘cool.”
Just next year Garnett cropped his image with Allen and shared it on his Instagram story, expressing his true feeling which has not yet changed.
