“King is bailing out, this season isn’t a failure” Marcellus Wiley defends LeBron James to still rise and shine with the approaching playoffs for Lakers

Marcellus Wiley and Emmanuel Acho the hosts for Fox Sports’ “Speak for Yourself” recently discussed National Basketball Association and its face, LeBron James. It was a complete debate between Marcellus Wiley and Emmanuel Acho as they pointed out the question of the season being a failure for LeBron James or not. Both the NFL players were very open and honest with their opinions on King James and the journey he has had so far with the Los Angeles Lakers, especially this season. Since he is having a great time in his career but the team under his leadership struggles to even fix themselves a play-in tournament spot.

The Los Angeles Lakers have proved how consistently inconsistent they are when it comes to winning games and improving their record to make it to the postseason. The veteran roster hand-picked by LeGM (LeBron James) himself is very disappointing as the stars always fail to step up in the clutch and close the game while adding on to the winning side. Players like Carmelo Anthony, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook are still holding themselves back due to injuries, chemistry issues, or being out of form.

The supporting cast always falls short to back up or add on to the greats and MVP calibre performances of LeBron James which has him getting the wrong criticism by fans and media around as they declare the season a failure for him. Lebron is still tilting like that and you call it a failure.”

Further, Marcellus Wiley attacked Emanuel Acho with stats as he quoted: “Fiel goal percentage better than the last six years. Free Throws, LeBron at the Free throw line kryptonite well not anymore… You can’t be changing it all arounds… You can’t adjust the principles with the picture.” Adding to it he gave an example of an NFL star and his great to add on to his solid rally of proving King isn’t done and dusted.

It is necessary for LeBron James to be strong and in form from now on. As it is him who is carrying the squad around with MVP calibre performances. Since the other stars are underperforming or sidelined. It is high time for the Los Angeles Lakers to step up and win all the remaining games as even one loss from now can get them out of the play-in tournament.
